About 23rd Special Tactics Squadron

We are an enabler unit specializing in pararescue and Air Force Special Warfare. We integrate directly with other milsim units, either embedded with ground elements or deployed independently alongside them, to prevent casualties and restore combat initiative. While we have an STS namesake, we're not limited to STS mission sets and are equally capable in RQS mission sets.

Our expertise centers on the Advanced Combat Medicine (ACM) Arma 3 mod by Blue. We excel in both ACM practical application and theory, and we maintain the highest standard.

We periodically host public-facing lectures on in-depth ACM topics, where we dive into the code and the inner workings of the systems that affect players during gameplay.

TRAINING AND ADVISORY SUPPORT

Medical Training and Qualifications

We have a series of medical qualification levels that we both train for and use to test trainees' proficiency. We train partner medics through these qualifications upon request to make sure we have reliable medics in the field. We can also send our own instructors to other units to lead dedicated classes tailored to your unit.

KAT → ACM TRANSITION SUPPORT

Supporting units moving from KAT to ACM

We can advise on settings, configuration, and important differences. We can help by hosting dedicated trainings for medics transitioning from KAT. We also help units strengthen their medical manpower during transition periods.

DIRECT OPERATIONAL SUPPORT

Pararescue

We provide directly attached PJs to deployed ground elements, just like our real-life STS counterpart, as well as standby rotary CSAR and MEDEVAC elements closer to an RQS-style rescue package. That capability can be backed by our own pilots and built to integrate with other units when needed.

DIRECT OPERATIONAL SUPPORT

Air-Ground Integration

Units that need terminal attack control, fires integration, or stronger coordination between ground forces and aviation can be reinforced by our Combat Control and Tactical Air Control Party personnel.

DIRECT OPERATIONAL SUPPORT

CBRN Specialists

We can provide emergency management and contamination response capability for scenarios that require a dedicated CBRN element.

DIRECT OPERATIONAL SUPPORT

EOD Specialists

We have EOD specialists trained in the IEDD Notebook mod and in the tactics and considerations of explosive ordnance disposal.

UAV Operators

We can provide operators for unmanned aerial support during operations.

Special Reconnaissance

Recon-focused personnel can support observation, target development, and pre-assault shaping for units that need a broader specialist package.
